Fatfat: Reservations are important since they convey a party’s political position

MP Ahmad Fatfat told VOL: Those who expressed reservations over the Ministerial Policy Statement are doing so out of “conviction and political beliefs,” a reference to Labor Minister Boutros Harb and Minister of Social Affairs Salim Sayegh. He stressed that “having reservations is important, since they convey a certain party’s political position.”

Yemenis protest agaisnt Iran

Yemeni protesters demonstrated in front of the Iranian Embassy in Sanaa chanting anti-Iranian slogans and calling for the expulsion of the Iranian envoy. Protesters chanted “no to the plot of Persian expansion” and other anti-Iranian slogans in front of the Iranian Embassy on Wednesday. Iranian student militia members had protested in front of the Yemeni and Saudi embassies in Tehran earlier this week. source: UPI

At least 10 people were killed in two bombings in Iraq

At least 10 people were killed in two bombings and a raid on a home in Iraq Wednesday, authorities said. Four people died in two bomb attacks near a Shiite shrine in Karbala and the other victims were members of a family whose home was targeted by insurgent. Source :The Washington Post

UN to launch humanitarian appeal to support displaced Yemenis
