A total of 140 patients have lost their lives due to swine flu since it emerged in Iran on June 22, director of the Flu Prevention Program of the Health Ministry said here on Wednesday. “Swine flu has claimed the lives of 40 Iranians over the past seven days, bringing the country’s total death rate to 140,” Mahmoud Soroush said.“A total of 3,672 individuals have been so far infected with the H1N1 virus across the country,” he noted. Khamenei calls for renewal of revolutionary spirit
