Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah criticized any cooperation between the U.S. and Lebanon “because we don’t believe that the American administration is keen on the interest, peace, stability and prosperity of the economy in Lebanon.”
In response to the U.S. refusal of dealing with Hezbollah ministers in the Lebanese unity cabinet, Fadlallah said that the Shiite party does not any way have any contacts with Washington which is “the basic supporter of Israeli aggression.”
President Suleiman is expected to meet president Obama on December 14 to discuss US military aid to Lebanon . The Obama administration has already requested the congressional approval for $210 million for UNIFIL and $100 million in military assistance for the Lebanese army, but several US congressmen are questioning this aid “For that much money, American taxpayers deserve to see results,” thirty-one members of the U.S. House of Representatives have written and asked the Administration.
The letter by the congressmen warned that Tehran may try to distract the international community from its nuclear program by inciting Hezbollah into carrying out militant activities in southern Lebanon and blowing up the regional situation.

Hassan Fadlallah should leave Lebanon and move to Iran with all his followers then maybe Lebanon will live peacefully with all its neighbors.
The end of Lebanon as a democratic country will cease when it turn its back to the west.
I dont ‘fully’ agree with you Tony, however with all my respect. Maybe due to religious or political belifes you may say that, however we cannot think that Hezballah are affected by Iran in that complete way. I believe democracy in Lebanon will never end, like what we saw in the past, but yes, Fadlallah should give a chance for all.
