You’re actually very lucky to have memories of your childhood IN Lebanon. Like you already know, I was born and raised in the UK, so memories of this dull place C’est la vie, but I hope I can return to Lebanon one day and continue my life there… Its my dearest dream.

Every news from the middle east tears the heart and cause despair we might as well laugh sometimes to preserve our sanity… don’t like to be too serious it’s a health risk.. lol. You know the price of za3tar here is dearer than meat..$8 a kilo. hehe we used to believe za3tar for the poor sold by gypsies in Beirut.. well I wish one knocks on my door …good old beirutian days…they also used to sell make up and bangles how much we miss the littlest things we had…for me bangles were more special than my Holden Commodore… am sure everyone can share memories..love to hear..:)

The US nor Israel dare to attack Iran because they own nuclear weapons and may counterattack. Unfortunately for us to have cereal jam and croissants for breakfast other people have to suffer…sad

Fauzia, you’re totally right. There is a possibilty, and a risky one, that if Israel/USA attacks Iran/Syria, Hezballah will get involved, dragging Lebanon into the conflict… Lets just hope this does NOT happen, because like you said, war doesn’t lead to peace.
