Information Minister Tarek Mitri briefed reporters following Tuesday’s cabinet meeting ’s and started out by quoting Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s words “administrative appointments will based on competence and integrity.
According to Mitri President Michel Suleiman, Hariri and the State Minister for Administrative Reform Mohammad Fneish will conduct negotiations over the appointments.

- Lebanese-Syrian relations. Hariri called for border demarcation to be implemented between the two countries to improve ties.
