National Liberal party rejects Abou Moussa’s statements

Lebanon’s National Liberal party which is headed by MP Dori Chamoun issued a statement in which it rejected what it called ” Abou Moussa’s provocative statements “.
Abou Moussa, the leader of Fatah Al Intifada Palestinian militant group an ally of Syria has outraged the country last week when he announced that he refuses to disarm his Palestinian militants outside the refugee camps in Lebanon.

Fatah al Islam militants who fought the Lebanese army in 2007 are an offshoot of Fatah Al Intifada.
With reference to the Municipal elections, the party stated that it is willing to accept the postponement of municipal elections on condition that such delay will not lead to more delays in other areas .

    Fatah Al Intifada these people.

They are guest of Lebanon and lebanon suffered a lot already the Palestinian militants should disarm , they have no right to roam the lebanese streets with arms on their side. This is Lebanon, not palestine. The Lebanese streets belong to the Lebanese people and government.

I am outraged they have killed our army men and caused the children of brave lebanese army men to be orphaned. Lebanon is a country not a jungle.

When I was a young Lebanese girl I was beaten up in the street in Lebanon in my own country for no reason whatsoever, by some so called palestinan fighters who lived in a camp near my home town, who happened not to like me. They took guns on me in my own country and terrorised me.

Now that’s why I resent any palestinain militant carrying guns in our country we are not safe with guns in our streets.

Where is the Lebanese government in all of this? where are the law enforcers? Where are we? still lots of talks no action..still same old ..same old. lots of political and sactarian parties lots of armed militias..Lebanon is still a jungle.
Samia I witnessed the same nuisanse but I only blame my government for failing to protect me. I even witnessed the Lebanese flag being lowered from a local ‘makhfar’ then spat and stepped on..at 9 years of age I felt humiliated and my citizenship threatened. But I only blame these men in power who fail to achieve and stand by their duty.

I don’t support any of these so-called liberal parties..I support my government but where is it? I must admit politicians look good in photos.
