Khamenei accuses U.S. of using internet to defeat Iran

Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday accused the United States of trying to use the Internet as a tool to defeat the Islamic Republic.
Speaking in the northern city of Amol in Mazandaran Province, Khamenei also said that Washington had been planning to orchestrate “riots” in Iran, referring to the widespread protests that followed last June’s disputed presidential election.
“The Americans say that they have allocated a 45 million dollar budget to defeat the Islamic Republic of Iran through the Internet, and this shows the peak of the enemy’s frustration,” he said, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency. Washington TV

Well if youre people were really so happy they would have told the so called enemy to go to hell. I know tons of Persians in America, but how many American have left California, New York or dallas to live in Tehran? The Iranian people want and deserve to be free. Even Islam say you can not force religion on people. That being said; If the U.S wanted to bring down the leadership in Iran they would spend a lot more than 45,000,000 to do it. Lets not forget that they could always just nuke Iran if they really wanted to or they could move sunni insurgents in Iraq and Afganistan closer to the Iran border and start a war with Iran that could drag in other Arab states. The truth is Iran is dealing with riots and the leadership in Iran is accused of fraud and all you have going for you is to point fingers at others and cry foul.
