Lebanon’s permanent mission to the UN filed a complaint with the UN Security Council over the kidnapping of Lebanese national Rabih Mohammad Zahra near the Bistra farm in  Kfar Shouba  region ,  National News Agency ( NNA) reported  Sunday

Lebanon described the act as a  “  blatant  violation of Resolution 1701, an attack on Lebanon’s sovereignty as well as a breach of the citizen’s human rights.”

In a related development NNA   quoted UNIFIL spokesperson Neeraj Singh as saying  UNIFIL Commander Maj. Gen. Alberto Asarta Cuevas  is contacting relevant parties to solve the issue. Singh added that UNIFIL dispatched a team to search the area where Zahra  was kidnapped.
