Murr: U.S. grants Lebanon $267 million in new military aid

Lebanon’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Elias Murr, who is in Washington, said the United States has officially decided to grant Lebanon new military aid worth $ 267 million immediately to meet the needs of the Lebanese army. As it has promised The US to reconsider its recent decision regarding the precautionary measures imposed on the Lebanese travelers at to U.S. airports.

Murr met several senior US officials including Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, who was keen to receive him at the entrance to the Pentagon and to delivered a written message stressing the commitment of the U.S. administration to continue to support the Lebanese army in accordance with the specific plan proposed by the Lebanese side and confirming the new and immediate US aid worth 267 million dollars.

    Thanks America, a step in the right direction. 267 million in military aid too Lebanon, is still a drop in the bucket, conpared, to the 100’s of Billion Dollars, of Tax payer’s Money, gone too Israel over the last 60 years, too Rain your Military Arsenal down on the beautiful Peace Loving People of Palestine. Our Citizens need to be protected, by the only Nuclear State in the Middle East, who seeks war, and Never No Peace.
