Lebanon charges 8 with plotting attacks against army

Lebanon’s military prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr charged on Tuesday eight people with forming an armed gang in the eastern Bekaa valley and plotting terrorist attacks against the army with the aim of killing soldiers, a judicial source said.
The suspects include Lebanese and Syrian citizens, the source said.
Only two of the suspects are in custody. The rest were charged in absentia. If convicted, they could face the death penalty. AFP

We’ve been fighting forever. Nothing has been accomplished forever. We are runining the country we have lebanon. We call ourselves lebanese and educated, but the truth is our lebanese people wil never have peace. We vote and elect government then we fight against it. We have no opinion and we will never have an opinion as long as we keep doing what we have for as long as i can remember, and even before that. We understand war, we understand peace, but destroying the most beautiful country in the world is the most painful thing. WE WILL BE STUPID FOREVER I am ashamed to call myself lebanese becasue of the stupid people in lebanon. I would love to come back someday, and see democracy, but that will never happen, and I will never go back.
