A woman was killed and three other people were injured in a terrific traffic accident on the al-Naameh highway when their vehicle a white Toyota veered off the road and hit a wall. The woman that was killed was identified as Zahra Akil . The 3 injured are in very serious condition and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Toyota has recalled over 10 million cars worldwide for faulty gas pedals and several other defects. It is not clear yet whether the accident was caused by the gas pedal. Police are currently investigation the cause of the accident.

Many complaints were reported worldwide over sudden acceleration problems of Toyota cars.
