Lebanon MP MP calls Aoun’s statement to As Safir shameful

MP Antoine Zahra,, a key member of the Lebanese Forces parliamentary bloc told Future TV on Wednesday that Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun’s alleged request—as reported in As-Safir newspaper last week—for Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah “to change the rules of the game” is shameful and serves petty political aims.

As-Safir also reported that Aoun told Nasrallah that there are military groups, especially among the Christians—a possible reference to the Kataeb Party and LF—that want to change the status quo in Christian areas.

Zahra also warned against “any possible military maneuvers that could destroy Lebanon,” saying that Israel and Hezbollah could trigger a regional conflict.

Zahra’s comment comes after Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea warned Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun that he will be ” held responsible for any acts of violence that may be waged against any Christian area.”

Geagea added: “Why weren’t the rules of the game changed in the 2009 parliamentary elections? This means that Aoun is asking Nasrallah to use force to change the rules of the game.”

Poor little aoun does not know where to go. He is betting on h/a to have the upper hand so he believes he can become president. Why can’t aoun behave like an independent adult instead of a puppet in the hand of syria and Hezbollah. Actually he is acting as a spy to undermine the Lebanese security, peace and lives of so many innocent people. He is thirsty for a war with israel, hoping, Hezbollah’s actions will gain further compromises with the the legitimate Lebanese government.
ENOUGH blood shed in Lebanon, let’s all live in peace and prosper. A war with israel will only help the destruction of lebanon infrastructure, just like before. Didn’t we learn!! aoun , you must stop being a little impish brat. I thought by now you have grown up and learned from your mistakes. You cannot be a general, a president, a patriarch, an ambassador to syria and iran, a spy, a business ma, a traitor, a puppet…or you are trying all to see which one will stick!!! may be, but be assured not in this life, but perhaps when you meet you 72 virgins……….

I say to KING Aoun that he failed big time as a soldier and he proved to be a very narrow minded politician. HA tried to occupy and change the status in mount Lebanon against Jumbalatt for the benifit of Arsalan or that looser Wahab, HA lost tens of fighters there and all the people who he counted on to support him supported the other side even though they did not support Jumalatt. any 10 year old kid in Lebanon, knows that you can’t change the status. it is what it is.people should be free to vote and support anyone they like. change by force never worked in the past and it’ll definitly never work in the future. HA or Iran or Syria or Israel do not have enough soldiers to make people change their minds. KING Aoun should win over the people by his ideas, his support for them to find jobs, live in peace and harmony. King aoun should push to have a constitiutional amendmant to seperate religion from politics. King Aoun should be receiving and helping with people’s complaints about, the lack of jobs, lack of electricity, lack of descent roads, lack of organization and you can go on forever ……. then and only then people will like him and vote for him, and maybe the parliment will make him a president………… after all that’s what he only wants…. too bad you’ll never see it in a thousand YEARS………
