Aoun concerned over Hezbollah’s bad image


Following Change and Reform bloc meeting its leader MP Michel Aoun told the media that he is “afraid the judges in the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) will develop a bad image of Hezbollah because when that happens, there will be prejudgments and gaps in the investigation.”

Lebanon PM Saad Hariri’s press office described as “fabricated, incorrect and baseless” on Tuesday a report by al-Akhbar which alleged that a telecom spy had close ties to Future movement.

STL: The Lebanese army will not arrest Hezbollah members if indicted

As Safir reported that the Prosecutor of the International Tribunal Canadian judge Daniel Bellemare went to the U.S. in the second week of July. Franjieh: Nasrallah’s speech spells the end of Doha accord


Former Lebanese MP Samir Franjieh slammed Monday Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah’s recent speech spells the end of the Doha Agreement.

Phalange partly: Leave STL alone and stop politicizing it


The Phalange Party on Monday called on all parties to keep the “Special Tribunal for Lebanon ( STL) away from the ongoing conflicts in Lebanon and the region, ” and urged ” an end to politicizing this international authority, which enjoyed national consensus upon its establishment,”

60 dead, 90 injured in India train crash
