
The government of India has unveiled a prototype of a touchscreen, tablet computer which it expects to sell for $35 initially. As more companies migrate server applications and data storage to the cloud, a simple, Web-enabled platform such as this will replace the bloated desktop and laptop hardware architectures in use today.

Labor Minister Butros Harb criticized Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun’s over the remarks he made about the alleged indictment by the special Tribunal for Lebanon even before it has been issued and said : The nation is more important than the assassins .

March 14 MP Okab Sakr warned during an interview with Al-Arabiya television on Saturday that there are plots for a coup in Lebanon and that only the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) can decide if Hezbollah is innocent of the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Israel faces another disastrous report as an ‘Independent and impartial’ fact-finding team appointed by the UN Human Rights Council will look into Israel’s ‘violations of international law’ during her commando raid on the Gaza-bound Turkish ship.
Seemingly the UN Human Rights Council wasn’t overwhelmingly impressed by Israel’s own ‘truth finding’ missions. (more…)
