President Suleiman visits Mexico

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman arrived in Mexico City on Sunday evening for an official state visit at the invitation of Mexican President Felipe Calderón, according to a statement issued by the presidential press office.

Suleiman traveled to New York on Thursday for the 65th session of the UN General Assembly. (more…)

Suleiman: Lebanon needs the International Community more than ever


Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said on Sunday that Lebanon cannot survive without the International Community.
“We need the International Community more than ever to make our voice heard,” Suleiman told New TV from New York.

13 dead as Polish tourist bus crashes in Germany

The Free Patriotic Movement snapped back at Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea by accusing him of calling for “isolation and confinement.”
