More than 230 people have been killed in clashes in Libya as anti-government protesters rallied in Tripoli’s streets, and tribal leaders spoke out against Gaddafi. Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi reportedly ordered the murder of his own soldiers, who were tied up & set on fire for refusing to kill their own people.   1. Arab world (or whatever world ) resemble now to the French revolution time in 1789 , it will take as much it took Europe to end the monarchy rules and the church influence. The good result will be if the same happens , but is long way to go, you need to neutralize the islamist and change the religious system to secular as Turkey, otherwise we could slip into another stone age system like Iran or worst, already in Libya they are calls that the new name will the Islamist Republic of Libya .The issue is the Arabic masses confusion between democracy and their religion that call for monarchy and tribal rules

  8. It is becoming obvious what the purpose of the military is in Arab lands. If the military was less powerful there would be massive looting and anarchy.
