Hundreds of Syrians flee to Lebanon

Exodus from Syria continues . Up to 1,000 Syrians have fled across the border into Lebanon over the past two days in a bid to escape the escalating violence in Syria.

A Lebanese security official said on Saturday that those crossing had entered northern Lebanon near the border town of Wadi Khaled, a day after activists said 20 people were killed in anti-government protests in Syria. (more…)

STL indictment may be announced between July 2-4

MTV reported on Friday that the indictment by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon ( STL) may be announced anytime between July 2nd and July 4th.

In May, STL prosecutor Daniel Bellemare, filed an amended indictment based on further evidence in former PM Rafik Hariri’s assassination. (more…)

Syria fires on 7 injured refugees to prevent them from entering Lebanon
