MP Awar urges the cabinet to stop STL funding


MP Fadi Awar, slammed on Wednesday the former cabinet of PM Saad Hariri calling it a fraud.

“The previous cabinet was one of fraud,” he told Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television.

Iran claims it downed US spy drone


Iran has downed a U.S. “spy drone” flying near its Fordo nuclear enrichment plant in Qom province, state-run media reported Wednesday.

Proposed new min. wage could bankrupt 80% of companies, report

Mohammad Shoucair , President of Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon told Al Nahar newspaper in remarks published on Wednesday that he rejects the proposal of General Labor Confederation Union leader Ghassan Ghosn over the increase in minimum wage stressing that such an increase will bankrupt 80 % of the Lebanese private companies. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a visit to Gaza, “Al Jazeera” TV channel reported, referring to a diplomatic source in Israel.

Syrian army trying to prevent refugees from fleeing to Lebanon
