Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt who headed to Paris last Wednesday met with high-ranking French officials , Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Sunday.
Al-Hayat added that Jumblatt discussed with French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s advisor and officials at the French Foreign Ministry the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
Al-Hayat did not provide any specifics
