The parliament on Thursday ratified four bills, including the amended version of the Change and Reform bloc’s energy bill, National News Agency

The report added that Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Thursday that he has reservations about the amendments made to his bloc’s energy bill that was approved in parliament.

“For the sake of the unity of the cabinet, we approve with reservations, the electricity draft law referred by the government,” NNA quoted Aoun as saying during the session.

The other bills that were ratified by the parliament:

A bill that provides gas subsidy to public transportation drivers allowances for gas
A bill on promotions of officers in the Lebanese army and security institutions
A bill that reduces the prison year to nine months.
