March 14 MP Mohammed Qabbani who heads the energy parliamentary committee accused Energy Minister Gebran Bassil of wanting to spend money freely without any controls.

He added that Bassil” lost his mind during the meeting and was cursing everyone left and right.”

Qabbani said that ” Bassil’s claim that we do not want to fix the problem of electricity in the country is totally wrong … we are the ones who want electricity but the Lebanese law should be enforced …once the law is applied we will have electricity .”
