Gemayel elected VP International Center Democratic Party

Former Lebanese president and current Phalange party leader Amine Gemayel was elected as vice president of the the International Center Democratic Party( ICDP) in addition to his election as president of the Party’s Mideast region, National News Agency reported on Friday.

The elections took place during the annual conference of the Union.

Gemayel held meetings with a number of political dignitaries present at the conference including Syrian National Council’s leader Abdel Basset Sayda, NNA also reported

According to the NNA, the conference also approved a paper presented by the Phalange Party and which stressed Lebanon’s principles of sovereignty, including “highlighting Lebanon’s neutrality with regard to all armed conflicts in the region, with the exception of the Arab-Israeli conflict… as well as maintaining relations between Lebanon and Syria based on the mutual respect of sovereignty.”

    sorry guys; i am member of this party since 25 years; i present officially my resignation from the party as a result of the election of this jerk as VP. I am sorry for all the companions in the party with particular thought to those who come from the real lebanese forces; i bet many will follow my steps and resign from the party; what a shame
