The March 14 candidates won on Sunday the by-election of the Tripoli Bar Association which was held to fill two vacant posts, one of them the head of the association, National News Agency ( NNA) reported.
Michel Khoury was elected as the new president of the bar association, while his colleague Saadi Qalawoun was elected as a member, NNA said.
The March 14 candidates received over 200 more votes than the March 8 candidates
Khoury will replace Bassam al-Dayeh whose mandate has expired.
