Ya Libnan is pleased to report now that based on new eyewitness reports the situation at the borders has since greatly improved. Obviously many Syrian friends must have raised hell about the mistreatment.

New eyewitness reports talk about Syria's hospitality at the borders in providing more courteous service and in offering food and drink to travelers.

This change in attitude should be a welcome development since many Lebanese and foreigners are still using Syria as a passage to get out of Lebanon during these difficult war times.
