Micro robot scorpions have infiltrated the state-of-the-art Israeli security apparatus and claimed 11 casualties in a "sting" operation.

"Ten troops have been bitten by scorpions since last Wednesday," an Israeli army spokesman said on Sunday.

The remote controlled, GPS guided scorpions have driven fear all the way up the Israeli command, prompting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to plea for peace.

"Come on, let's sit, shake hands, make peace and end once and for all the hostility, the jealousy, the hatred that some of my people have toward you," Olmert said while touring a school in northern Israel.

Further developments surfaced on Monday, as it appears the Lebanese Army has incorporated a new addition to it's arsenal of deadly creatures - vipers. The news of deadly robotic reptiles triggered a sign of desperation from Israeli's premier.

Fortunately for Israel, none of the casualties have turned to fatalities thus far. The Lebanese Army is holding the antidote as a bargaining chip for putting an end to the nearly two month old air, land and sea blockade imposed by Israel on Lebanon.
