"They also say that Hezbollah has certain fears regarding the outcome of the investigations of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, and I say that this is also untrue. Hezbollah don’t need any guarantees on this issue either."

This was in reference to the Der Spiegel report which revealed that Hezbollah was behind the assassination of Lebanon's former PM Rafik Hariri


Nasrallah called for cooperation and dialogue .

"Good intentions are needed from both rival camps. We need to cooperate with each other to confront the dangers."He said

Nasrallah concluded his speech by assuring the Lebanese not to worry about any unpleasant surprises this summer .

"We also love life and let us leave people to live their life in peace" , he said

Let's hope Nasrallah meant what he said this time and that we won't have a repeat of the summer of 2006 , when he broke his promise to PM Siniora and triggered the war with Israel .
