1000 Lebanese evacuated from Ivory Coast

The number of lebanese expatriates that have been so far evacuated from war torn Ivory Coast has reached 1000 as of Sunday April 10.

Lebanese flee Libya, urge government to help evacuate fellow citizens

Eighteen Lebanese nationals arrived at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport from Libya, the National News Agency reported on Sunday, adding that they came through Jordan. The Lebanese urged Beirut authorities to facilitate the evacuation of other Lebanese citizens there. (more…)

Egyptian killers of Lebanese singer escaped prison, report

MTV reported that reports from Egypt revealed that Hisham Talaat and Mohsen al-Sukkary, who were charged in the murder of Lebanese singer Susanne Tamim, have escaped from prison in Egypt.
