At least 18 killed by Syrian security forces on Saturday

Syrian security forces have killed at least 18 civilians on Saturday, nearly all in the central region of Homs, the Syrian Revolution General Commission, a coalition of dozens opposition groups-reported.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad should face trial at a UN court over the “brutal” treatment of his people, Australia’s foreign minister says.

Syria denies torturing 13 year old boy

Syria said on Wednesday that Hamzah al Khateeb, 13, the boy opposition activists charged Syrian security forces had tortured to death, had in fact died from bullet wounds.
