Two Lebanese men were detained on suspicion of smuggling arms into Syria through the Bekaa town of Arsal.
Military judge Imad al-Zein questioned the two, who were identified by their first names as Wael and Bahaa, and subsequently issued an order authorizing their continued detention . (more…)

Nassib Lahoud , head of the Democratic Renewal Movement and one of the main pillars of March 14 alliance passed away Thursday after a long illness. He was 68.
Lahoud passed away at dawn at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Ashrafieh, Beirut. A funeral will be held for him Saturday at St. Georges Cathedral in downtown Beirut . (more…)

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Thursday during a press conference in Maarab that the current cabinet should resign and be replaced with a cabinet of technocrats ,
