Aoun: Domestic obstacles against cabinet formation are gone

MP Michel Aoun revealed on Friday that there are no longer domestic obstacles hindering the formation of a new cabinet.

Rifi: Nahhas is undermining Lebanon’s security

Internal Security Forces chief Maj. Gen. Ashraf Rifi Thursday accused resigned Telecoms Minister Charbel Nahhas of undermining security in the country, following a dispute between Nahhas and security services that almost turned deadly.

Another rift between Baroud and Rifi, report

Another dispute is in the making between Lebanon’s caretaker minister of interior Ziad Baroud and Internal Security forces chief General Ashraf Rifi.
