Phalange tells Hezbollah : Yes for defeating Israel, no for toppling Lebanon’s regime

Phalange Party’s official Sejaan Qazzi told MTV: If Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah wants to change the face of the region through defeating Israel, then we are on his side, but if he wants to change it by toppling the Lebanese regime and forcing Wilayat al Faqih type rule , then we reject this completely.
Qazzi said ” whoever wages a psychological warfare on the other must expect criticisms and an appropriate response”, pointing out that Hezbollah strongholds have been turned into armed Palestinian camps without any supervision or accountability.
Qazzi was referring to Nasrallah ’s attacks against the March 14 Christians following the blast in Dhahiyah , a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut that targeted a Hamas military training center . Both the Phalange party and the Lebanese Forces criticized Hezbollah for allowing Hamas to open a training center in Dhahiyah
Qazzi stressed that the Phalange Party is for strengthening the Lebanese state and its institutions

Christian MP tells Nasrallah: We don’t need anyone’s advice

MP Dory Chamoun, a key member of the March 14 Christians responded to Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s speech last Sunday on the occasion of Ashura by saying : We don’t need anyone’s advice .
Chamoun said Hezbollah never amended its 1985 program which called for the establishment of an Islamic state in Lebanon.
In an interview with Future TV Chamoun also responded to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri’s call for forming a committee for the abolition of political sectarianism by pointing out that Berri himself was the person who tried to fill up all the government positions with Shiites and expressed surprise that he is the same man who is now trying to propose abolition of sectarianism

Najjar said Nasrallah’s speech is harmful

Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said during an interview with Future News on Thursday, that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s speech on the occasion of Ashura on last Sunday “harms more than helps, because it creates sensitivities.” He added that he does not “see any Christian leader giving instructions to Shiite or Sunni leaders.”

Hezbollah chief may pay a visit to Iran

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ramin Mehmanparast, said on Tuesday that the leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah group may pay a visit to Iran.
Mehmanparast did not say when Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah would visit Iran, but noted that the Hezbollah chief is a top political figure in Lebanon.
Nasrallah “is also a notable personality who plays an important role in Lebanon. It is possible that he may pay a visit to Iran,” he told reporters at a weekly press briefing, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
