Kuwait: cabinet resigns, 3 Iranian diplomats expelled

Kuwait’s cabinet resigned on Thursday over regional turmoil, the country’s official news agency said, in an apparent reference to the political unrest in neighbouring Bahrain.

The state-run agency said the cabinet resigned because of “recent local developments” and the “negative aftershocks on the country’s national unity, security and stability”. (more…)

Lebanon army discovers another Israeli spying device

Lebanon army intelligence says it has discovered and dismantled another Israeli spying devices in Toumat Niha , in the Shouf region east of Beirut , according to local reports .

Local reports revealed that the Toumat Niha device allow Israel to monitor the Bekaa valley and coastal areas from Sidon all the way to Jbeil. (more…)

Lebanon Complains to U.N. about Israeli spy devices

Israeli Arab activist convicted of spying for Hezbollah

An Israeli court has convicted Amir Makhoul, a leading Israeli Arab activist of spying for Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group.

Makhoul, 52, admitted to the charges in a plea bargain that will see him jailed for seven to 10 years.
