ET409 crash: Hezbollah denies its delegation missed the flight

Hezbollah denied on Wednesday a report in Al-Liwaa newspaper that a high-profile party delegation missed boarding the crashed Ethiopian airliner.

The party added that the daily based its false information on rumors about Hezbollah MP Nawwar al-Sahili’s travel plans. According to Hezbollah, the unfounded report harms the families of the victims as well as the party.

Al-Liwaa has reportedly based its hypothesis on Hezbollah’s unusual concern about the catastrophe and the fact that a Hezbollah delegation, including Hashem Safieddine and MP Nawar al-Sahili, was supposed to be on the plane.

Al-Liwaa also pointed to Hezbollah’s noteworthy presence at the funeral of one of the plane victims identified as Hassan Tajeddine in the southern town of Hinawaya.

Speculation about what happened to ET409 flight has escalated . Al-Liwaa said the crash is likely a “deliberate” attack, while al Asharq al-Awsat newspaper did not rule out “sabotage” . OTV television station which which is owned by MP Michel Aoun , a close ally of Hezbollah cited official circles as saying that the Ethiopian plane was likely hit by a rocket.

Lebanese Minister of Transportation Ghazi Aridi cautioned against blaming anyone at this stage of the investigation and said the black boxes once found will provide the answers

Could it be possible that Hezbollah had some intelligence about the danger its delegations would be in had they boarded the flight..Israeli sabotage or missile attack for example..VERY POSSIBLE

I doubt it very much.If they (Hezbollah)knew the danger they would have informed the Lebanese authority;and we would have already heard shouting and accusation…. Zionist israeli attack on the plane.The black box will reveal the truth what happened.

I don’t think any truth will be revealed when the black box will be found, in contrary the truth will be manipulated just to hide the ugly truth, which israelian and co. will hide behind their conspirary. Is it a considence, that most passengers found were from the firt class? as this area was aimed to be targetted, for whom it was carrying or supposed to carry.And if the crash was caused by lightening, or technical errors, at least the error would have been reported back and the plane wouldn’t have crashed as out of sudden and in fireball after a loud explosion was heard.

i am surprised by fox hopping the truth will be publicized after the black box investigation is over but i doubt it since everybody has its Owen steak but what ever the agenda to attack the plane it shows how humanity is going out of the path.think about the civilians on board

How can a black box suddenly become elusive under the eyes of Lebanese, American,Cyprus,French Israeli, etc..around 10 kilometers of the beach..
What is the need for international fund raising after the June war..when failing to protect the civilians and the infrastructure from massive bombs before hand.. Politics is always absurd and silly
