Hariri’s media office denies Al Akhbar report

The media office of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri issued a statement in response to al Akhbar newspaper’s report: “Akhbar newspaper reported Tuesday statements attributed to the media adviser of the Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri before the media during the visit of Prime Minister Hariri to Kuwait, on the relationship between Lebanon and Syria. The media office denies categorically the al Akbar statements which are fraudulent and fabrications . ”

“The media Office of the Prime Minister Hariri knows that the number of people adversely affected by the positive relationship between the Lebanese premier and the Syrian Arab Republic is not small and could increase with each new step in the rapprochement between the two countries .” The statement said

The statement added: “Therefore the media office of PM Hariri calls on all the media to pay attention not to fall into such traps and methods that are contrary to all standards and ethics of information. ”
