National dialogue postponed 2 weeks in Lebanon

In the first official confirmation of the postponement of the national dialogue, President Michel Suleiman announced that the all-party talks would be held on June 17.

Suleiman told a cabinet meeting at Baabda palace on Monday that the dialogue was postponed till June 17.

The all-party talks on the country’s defense strategy were scheduled to be held on June 3. However, there was still ambiguity over the reasons behind the postponement.
