what gets me is no other political party issues any statements internationally except for hizbollah. why is that?? what’s wrong with the other MPs? oh i know, they’re all having tea in israel

but seriously, its annoying when hizbollah thinks it’s its own country. like come on guys, come down to earth and humble yourselves.

Well said Tony, our so called leaders do not utter a word to praise this great woman of Lebanese descent. However, only when they are in trouble they do ask for the help of their fellow Lebanese in the diaspora. What a shame!

Moussawi is free to praise Helen Thomas that is comandable, but the Lebanese Foreign Ministry Mr. Shami should have something to say to, we need to put sophisticated people in foreign ministry not somebody that belongs to this or that party, seems like the last three foreign ministers seem so unsophisticated, we Lebanese pride ourselves as sophisticated and when we see those people especially the last one when he talks to you does not look at your face, common Mr. Berry I am sure you have western educated suave people in your party, cause we have so many Lebanese in diaspora that we do not feel those people present good image of Lebanon, going back to Miss Thomas Universities in Lebanon should honour her by bestowing Honorary Doctorate for freedom of speech including Husallah.

Not defending the human right abusers, a lot of jews, but we we should call it like it is. the jews are like any other people, comprised of mothers, fathers, sons, brothers, daughters, etc.. and not all of them are bad. So advocating the removal of all these people to countries where they were massaccred is wrong and indefensible. Before i get a tirade of angry opinions, stop and think for a second about what I wrote and try to differentiate between what helen said versus whether the land is theirs (jews) or not. Throughout history, different people take over different lands all the time, Israel is just history repeating itself. the strong overpowers and crushes the weak. So whether it is fair or not, reality is that Israel is the jews’ land, at least for now. We have such a huge diaspora and mostly Christians, and those FM and minister of Immigrants never visit overseas to check on diaspora and capture the wealth as in brains culture economy manufacturing and how stupid can they get to miss such a valuable asset, if they only realize, do we still have people calling themselves Maali Wazir and knowing nothing much, what a loss to Lebanon having brain dead people as such.

My friend I have been living overseas most of my life and people that I met are of christian descent both in North and South America includind Khalil Gebran Dr. DEbakey ,Dany Thomas all the us senators and congressmen Ralph Nader Tiny Tim etc etc those people migrated turn of century and during Ottoman brutal occupation , I am not talking about the Lebanese that left during civil war or the ones that live in Africa of Shiite decent, I did not meet any of those famous people but they are out there and present such a wealth to Lebanon if we only try to capture it.
