Major drug dealer arrested in a southern Beirut Suburb

Judicial police arrested a “major drug dealer” and seven addicts in Beirut’s southern suburbs, the National News Agency reported Sunday.

NNA said an anti-drug taskforce raided the home of Youssef Mohammed Q, 41, in al-Musharafiyyeh neighborhood at dawn and found cocaine packed inside plastic bags and ready for distribution.

Police drug units also arrested seven addicts after the trafficker phoned them to inform them where to receive the drugs.

The suspects have been referred to the anti-narcotics bureau at the Werwar barracks for further interrogation. Naharnet

    I fear for the poor law enforcement team that made the arrest. They will eventually put in jail and the drug dealer will be freed because he is a friend or related to one of zeballah’s leader.

    Its probably he’s intruding on Hezbollah drug dealers and since they want him arrested that’s why they allowed securities to enter the area and do so. Otherwise if this guy was truly hezbollah then they want not dare do anything.
