Geagea: All STL false witnesses are Syrian intelligence

In his last speech, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah questioned the credibility of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon by claiming that the International court used testimonies of false witnesses in the investigation into the 2005 assassination of Lebanon’s former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea responded on Wednesday by saying that all of the alleged false witnesses used are Syrians and most of them belong to the Syrian intelligence agency, according to a statement from his press office.

In a possible reference to Syria, Geagea said false witnesses were brought in by “another party” to undermine the investigation.

“How can a witness hold a press conference admitting he is a false witness after testifying in the investigation?” he asked, adding that this is a charade that only the STL can clarify.

“How do they know that these false witnesses misled the Hariri investigation when it is supposed to be classified?” Geagea also asked .

Geagea pointed out that the four generals who were detained in 2005 for their alleged involvement in Hariri’s murder were released in 2009 because of lack of sufficient evidence and not because they were innocent.

Geagea stressed that STL indictment will be rejected if it is not based on evidence and facts, he said, adding that Hezbollah should further discuss with March 14 its warning about the outbreak of sectarian conflict when the tribunal issues its pending indictment.

Geagea also criticized Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun for saying that if he were a prosecutor in the case, he would question Geagea in the investigation.

Mohammed Zuhair Siddiq also known as Mohamad Zouhair Siddik is a self proclaimed former Syrian intelligence operative who used to live in Lebanon.

Both provided information that led the Lebanese authorities to arrest the four Lebanese generals.

Geagea is correct on this one because both were and maybe still in the Syrian intelligence especially Husam Taher Husam. With each separate bombing that took place he was seen in some of them. Also he came forward on his own and announced it was the Syrian intelligence behind the killing of hariri and his associates. Then he took off to Syria and said he was under pressure from Saad Hariri, marwan Hamade and jumblatt. Then he said he got paid from Hariri family to make the story. This guy have been photographed in several sites. Now I heard he owns a restaurent in Chautoura and he is merely there to really coordinate efforts between lebanon and report directly to Bashar Al Assad. He also coordinated the first trip between Hariri and Assad. As far as Sadiq he’s definitely wishy washy and i read confirmed reports from STL that he was no longer a witness. To me they would disgregarded his testimoney anyway. Besides the STL is not depending on either one so what’s the big fuss all about? the proofs the STL have are solid and not just mere words of two deceitful Syrian intelligence! Nassrallah is making big deal and if he keeps pushing for these two then he’s setting up a trap for himself since they were always working withe syrian intelligence. Now i could be about Saddiq, but isn’t his family and relatives still in Syria? If this is true, do you think Syrian intelligence will leave them intact and not threaten them to force him to come back to Syria? Nassrallah you can try all you like facts are facts and the more you fight this before it comes out and defend yourself in the court of Justice. Then all your threats and intimidations are nothing but to scare people from vindicating you in the crimes committed against innocent Lebanese. I hearby declare you guilty guilty guilty. Now bend over so i can strike with 2000 lashes..

Soldiers died for him and he ran away from them? he even been an accomplice to the syrian regime who are denying any lebanese prisoners in Syrian jails. I think that the victorious is Nasralla Bond Underground. Nasralla is a big victorious because he will spend his life underground like a rat.
