Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Roken Abadi told the media at the Grand Serail on Thursday that the meeting between Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was positive.

“The meeting was positive,” Abadi said reiterating Iran’s support for Lebanon.

He said that they discussed the latest domestic and regional developments, including matters related to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) .

“The [STL] issue is a Lebanese affair. We are making effort to preserve the unity of Lebanon,” Abadi said.
