Syria: Death toll rises to 38 during Good Friday protests

Security forces opened fire on demonstrators during mass protests in Syria on Good Friday, AFP quoted witnesses and activists as saying that at least 38 protesters were killed so far today

As of 1000 pm Syrian Time today, at least 80 dead, and many more will most likely die, as well…After this, I would say you can mark today, April 22, 2011, as the day the Syrian Civil War started…..this is it, as there is no turning back. Bashar, Maher, Rami, Rhustom Ghazali, Farouk Sharaa….your days are numbered….4/22/2011, will be just like 4/13/1975, when the Lebanese Civil War started…a day, no one will EVER forget….yalla….
