I dont know what the Syrian Government is doing. I dont know why they dont just let people say what they want and do as they wish within reasonable limits. What do they think they will gain from this? Scare people into being quiet? The worl has gotten smaller with the internet, Smart phones, Roaming, Satellite internet and Satellite Tv. Lies dont work and abuse only causes more people to join the revolt. It seems to me that Bashar is not controlling his army or his army dont care about his orders since he ordered them not to shoot. In Hama when Sr.Assad killed 20,000 people we didnt have Internet, Satellite  and mobile phones so information could be controlled. Have the Syrians not seen what happened in Tunis, Libya, Yemen, Egypt among others. I know all these countries didnt just decide to revolt all of a sudden and they may have some sort of western backing. You know that every person you kill will give the west more of a reason to back the revolt. You killed 1000 people, You put 10,000 in jail and its still not over. Why dont you just call for early elections or leave and save you dignity and family name at least not to mention LIVES OF THE PEOPLE YOU SAY LOVE YOU AS YOU SHOOT THEM.

I have no way  of knowing the  truth since this  is the only  news site that  reported  this  story. But I would  expect a  better  sources for this story  then  just  anonymousness  witnesses. Not that   such  brutality  would not  happen in Syria or  any other  Arab state, but for yalibnan to report such a story without backing it up with reliable sources , is totally irresponsible , to say the least.

“Reliable sources”?  So someone is lying about the body in the hospital(whose name is given)?  Why don’t you go in there and gather the evidence to de-bunk this article?  Seems to me that Ya Lubnan is doing a very good job and with integrity.

this is not the only site who posted this story.
many syrian anti regime websites also have something like it.

anyway we do not need actual witness, we know it is true because we have been there before and know their ways.

Are you SSNP or something? You have such an unconditional love for Syria and always say all the stories that Syrians are killing their people are false.

        Beiruti,
I’ll make  you laugh by  admitting that  until recently I didn’t  know what SSNP stood  for.lol.It was the generosity of one of the commentators ( hannibal , I believe) who explained it to  me.lol.I have no love  for Syria or any other  country  but  Lebanon, even that is fading.lol If you read my  comment carefully, you’d realize that I was in  no way  defending  The Syrian  regime.I  was  simply criticizing libnan for putting out a story  without  reliable  sources.
I  don’t  see how  you  can  carry a meaningful discussion  when you start questioning  some one’s patriotism  or  loyalty if  you  disagreed with  their  views.

Once reporters are allowed into the areas to report and the reporters in Damascus stop getting jailed and sent to Iran for interrogation you will have more reliable news. This is exactly why they dont want reports in the areas and are intimidating others in and around the capital so they can put a spin on it and just deny it….

they should start listing the names of the officers who do these killings to protect a regime that has no value for any soldier or citizen, when Israel bombed the Syrian army in Lebanon, the Syrian army left the dead soldiers on the streets and left without collecting them… if only that officer knows how much his Master Assad cares for him….
