Syrian envoy considers Jumblatt’s remarks over Syrian uprising positive

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali commented on Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt’s recent remarks regarding the Syrian uprising, saying that he wants to “read all positive aspects” of Jumblatt’s stances.

“We read all positive aspects of the views of our brothers,” National News Agency quoted Ali as saying.

Jumblatt has repeatedly urged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to implement reforms in his country “as soon as possible.”

The Syrian envoy also said that he “does not want to consider that Jumblatt’s view has a negative meaning.”

He also said that the Syrian government “is leading the reform and dialogue process” across his country.

Activists say the Syrian government’s crackdown on pro-democracy and anti-regime protests has left more than 1,500 civilians dead. About three thousand Syrian have been listed as disappeared

The eyes are the mirror of the soul.  Look into Jumblat’s and the Syrian Ambassador’s eyes and you would see evil lurking.

Now you KNOW Jumblatt is a ‘Torpedo of Deception’, if Syria loves him.

actually i think the syrian ambassador’s remark to reassure everyone that thing are good between the two….which does not necessarily mean it is the case.

it is not in the interest of the syrian regime to loose a druze leader like jumblatt at this time…so the ambassador is saving face.

that’s also not to say that jumbaltt is totally against them now….but you all know how it is with this…person.
