One killed in explosion south of Beirut, update

An explosion caused by a bomb or grenade killed a person in the Dahiyeh suburb of southern Beirut, An-Nahar newspaper reported on Saturday .

Hezbollah immediately imposed a security cordon around the site of the explosion, which the paper said occurred in the tenth floor of a building in the Al-Nasr Complex of the area.

An-Nahar also reported that the security forces were unable to enter the site.

Update : The person that was killed was a Hezbollah member

update 2: Samir Kuntar, a terrorist released by Israel three years ago, was reportedly injured in a blast in one of the buildings.

    I think it was reported that terrorist Samir Kuntar was wounded  (is this the one and now he died of his wounds from a bomb he was working with???).

    this is not good. the last thing we want is attacks on HA or any other party in Lebanon. God forbid we have more attacks and finger start pointing at other lebanese.

    This is the start of uprising against Hezbollah hegemoney totatitarian rule in Lebanon on the expense of other groups and sects in Lebanon and the state , Hezbollah has created a state within the state in Lebanon and Allah willing we all Lebanese will destroy that and send Mr. Nassrallah and his Iranian Syrian ganags allies to their graves .

    ‘Security’ could not enter … hmmm … another mistake in the class ‘Bomb-making 101’ ?

      Of course security could not enter, at least quickly, because they should have visas to enter territories outside the Lebanese Republic.

    I have a serious problem with the news release because the subtitle says Lebanon.  It should have said “File under, Hezbollah, Dahieh.” 

    In other words, it is more like international news outside Lebanon since Dahieh is not within the “sovereign, independent” (giggle) state of the Lebanese Republic.

    i am more interested in who has done this terrorist act in an area that is supposed to be a stronghold of HA….inside jobs because things are getting too close to nasrullah’s aka khamenei’s aka Bashaar’s neck perhaps?
