MP Aoun for electoral law based on proportional representation

During an interview with MTV on Sunday Change and Reform bloc MP Alain Aoun called for drafting an electoral law based on proportional representation.

“This matter will be discussed between the Christian parties and during cabinet meetings ,” he said

Aoun’s comment comes after Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt called Sunday or preserving the current electoral law in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Only if people of Lebanese descent get the right to immigrate and the diaspora of citizens can vote.
