Lebanon Muslim leaders held a summit in Beirut

On the occasion marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, a Muslim spiritual summit was called for by the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Mohammad Sheikh Rashid Qabbani and was held on Saturday at Dar al-Fatwa, National News Agency reported.

The summit was attended by Qabbani, Higher Islamic Shiite Council Deputy head Sheikh Abdel Amir Qabalan, Druze spiritual leader Sheikh el Akl Naim Hassan, and Alawite Mufti Sheikh Assad Assi.

They all reportedly voiced concern over the political tension prevailing in the country, and reiterated a call for “unity among all Muslims.”

Empty words: :”unity among muslims”, while each one is plotting and thinking differently against his ” other fellow” muslims. The news in these meetings is including a Alawite mufti. But this meeting is between a Sunni who hates the Shiaa and the Aalawites, and a Shiaa who hates the Sunni and is wary of the druze, and a Druze who hates and fears both the Sunni and the Shiaa and does not believe in the Kuran and does not fast Ramadan (and yet calls himself a muslim, but muslims do not really consider the druze muslims)…..In a nut shell this meeting is the ultimate Hypocrisy (or Takkya in Arabic) that each one of these “supposedly spiritual” leaders is exercising on each other. Bunch of liars and hypocrites who say something and think and mean something else, but God knows your real intentions and you will be rewarded and treated accordingly.
My advise to you for peace and unity is to meet and accept first the king of peace and unity with God: Jesus Christ our lord and savior, then you will start to feel and experience peace and unity. As long as a killer, rapist and thief is your role model and “ashraf al kholk” for you, as you say, you will never have peace and unity while war, destruction and back stabbing will remain your destiny.

Of course not, No need for you to belong to real society. The inbreeding, having many veiled wives bearing many children as if they were dog  litter is the answer. Life is so cheap for you, that you can produce and reproduce the next “martyrs”. You deserve what you have asked for.

The whole point, Corty, is that by this time in human history no-one needs a religion to tell them what is right and what is wrong … assuming they wish to live in a stable, peaceful environment, with fellow humans. All the experiences of the past should show them ‘the way’ … also assuming their parents led them in a direction which allowed them to learn.
Some, of course, never really listen to lessons.
You give your child a hammer and nail after showing him what they are for, tell him how to hold it so as not to hit his thumb, but the experience of hitting a thumb is the only way some learn, right?
In fact, some hit it so often they become angry at the nail … which is illogical … then hate the job as well as the nail … and never try again. Some throw the hammer at the father … in which case, more lessons need to be applied. 😉

Reply to your comment @ me below, suggesting that I’m the same as other posters here is stupidly ludicrous. I do not believe in any god, I am an atheist. God is a made up idea. A tooth fairy for grown ups. I only attack religion because:
          A) it brings pain, death, misery and division to humanity.
          B) any religion that claims I’m going to burn in hell unless I follow its stupid instructions deserves to be attacked. Albeit by words.
          C) an atheist attacks by words. Religions attack by bringing death. Yours is as bad as any. Remember the crusades, the inquisition, burning witches, and the kata’eeb? All murders in the name of your Jesus.

When your religion denounces these killings I may stop being vocal against it.

If it is the same Jesus that the Zionist pope believes in then defiantly no thanks. You know the sad thing about most Christians is you don’t even know who Jesus is. I ask 1 question from a Christian. You believe in the trinity right. OK I know who the father is and I know who the so called son is. However why cant anybody tell me who the holy spirit is. The answer I get is “The three persons are distinct yet coexist in unity” So three are one and 1 is 3. Sound like the three musketeers to me.

Here is my answer to you 73Corty77 and every other muslim on this site:

God, as per the Bible (not as per me), created Adam as a reflection of him ( khalakna al-insan aala souratana) giving him the power to decide, to choose, to plan and to pro-create (many Godly features), but Adam sinned against God and “fell” from the paradise that God gave him. However, while creating Man as his reflection, at the same time God had already his own PERFECT reflection exisiting (Jesus Christ).

All of us, we are the children of GOD, but all of us are sinners, no matter how good we do, still we are so far from the perfect GOOD, PEACE and LOVE that God is. So God in his all merciful and loving fatherhood wanted to save humanity from the inherited sin from Adam, he sends his only SON (his perfect reflection, in flesh) Jesus Christ to pay the price for the human sins with his own blood with his death on the cross and his rise on the 3rd day (triumphant over death and sin), so that everyone who believes in him and repents his sins be saved and be united with God. This is Jesus Christ who is one with God, as the perfect reflection of God is God.

As for the Holy Spirit, it is the Godly force that comes upon a person who is united with Jesus Christ, that protects this person, that makes him/her speak and do things that are Godly, that makes him/her make miracles in the name of Jesus Christ. This is the Hoily Spirit.

In a nut shell, this is the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT.
Jesus Christ said: Nobody comes to my father but through me, because me and the father are one.
I send you my peaceful and thoughts and prayers to understand.

By the way, I see Islam like the original sin of Adam, Mohammad forced muslims to behave in a certain way, and muslims inherit this sort of culture, generation after generation, which includes killing, stealing (non-muslim properties) and many other ugly sinnful practices that the simplest man would not do and would feel shameful of doing (like marrying his daughter at 6 or 9 like Aycha).

Finally, please corty and every muslim, please give yourself a chance and read the New Testament (you can also read the old testament is the Torah the Jews Bilble which Chrisitians also believe in, the old testament has the ten commandments of God), and you will meet the wonderful world of Jesus Christ, and if you ask Jesus to help you know him, he will definitely let you know him in a way or another that only you will realize it. Pray for Mohammad from now to eternity, nobody will answer you.

Also, what kind of God would make HIS OWN SON SUFFER ON THE CROSS? Also, he is the almighty, he could make things better without making his son suffer! What a fucked up dad. How would your son feel if you did that to him?

Finally Jesus died on the cross and you xtians are awaiting the second coming. Do you really think he’s going to want to see another cross when he comes back? You guys are fools.

I wonder what turns, inamosh, corty, mahdi and the likes into tirades and you wonder why the civilized world continue to accept them as alien/refugees and provide them with the amenities that they lack practicing their own rites in their own respective countries. I wonder what turns, inamosh, corty, mahdi and the likes into tirades and you wonder why the civilized world continue to accept them as alien/refugees and provide them with the amenities that they lack practicing their own rites in their own respective countries. They make me puke and I suggest that should go back where they came from.

Tsk, tsk … Corty was asking a ‘theory’ question, and Constantin gave him the theory. No need to get all upset over a factual answer – at least in the first half. 😉
I suppose you can Believe any theory you wish. There seems to be a lot of them …. some believe several. Weird.

Maybe they thought that at Dar al-Fatwa, they could come up with a Fatwah FOR something instead of against for a change? But we’re sure that all are ‘concerned’. Fatheads ….

To In-a-Mosh and every one on this site, I definitely do respect your freedom to believe whatever you want. This is everyone’s right, and I am sorry if I sound sometimes “preaching”. Calling me “weird” does not bother me at all, it only tells me that you do not understand my arguments, which is fine.
Just on your own though seek the truth, and don’t let ever any one tell you not to question anything because it comes from GOD. God gave us a brain to question everything and distinguish the right from the wrong and the good from the bad and any text (holy or not) that asks humans not to question, cannot possibly come from God. As you are questioning Jesus, his death, his crucification, and other christian believes do the same with Islam, it is your duty and right as an intelligent educated human being to question a religion imposed on you through birth, and not by personal choice. I questionned my religion years back when I was an adolescent and in my early twenties, to discover fast, from my personal experiences. how wrong I was.

    Peace and brotherly love 🙂

Thank you for accepting my right to free thought. I already did that with Islam and left it 10 years ago. I am a fully fledged atheist. I believe religions (especially the three Abrahamic faiths) are evil, and bring nothing but divisions. You believe in a modern brand of xtianity that seems passive. However your bible (old and new testament) and history are tainted with bloodshed just like Islam. You’d like to believe your faith is peaceful but it isn’t. YOUR GOD allegedly drowned the world including all the babies in it and saved Noah. That’s an evil deed. He is an evil god.
