A Bomb set to explode found near Berri's NBN TV

NBN TVA Bomb that was set to explode was found in front of Speaker Nabih Berri’s National Broadcasting Network (NBN) Television headquarters , Al Jadeed ( New ) TV reported early Sunday morning.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and a bomb expert is trying to dismantle the device.

This development comes after explosions took place last Friday outside the Al-Taqwa Mosque in the city’s Al-Zahiriya area and the Al-Salam Mosque in the Al-Mina neighborhood.

Also, a car bomb went off last week on the main road between the Al-Rueiss and Bir al-Abed areas of Hezbollah’s Beirut stronghold of Dahieh, leaving 27 people dead and at least 336 injured.

Update 1: NBN manager Qassem Suweid told reporters that the bomb was dismantled

Update 2: The bomb weighed 1.5 kg and was discovered jst after midnight in a flower basin by the NBN guard

    Keep the eyes open folks … and call the cops.
    P.S. Don’t stand around to watch a poor soldier trying to dismantle one of these things.
    Yah never know …. he’s not sure either.
    (why I have to explain that is also weird … some like to watch things blow up, however.)

      Ya arabs and boms wow sunni shia thay both love them tinker toys in michigan we can’t have a m80 well go to jail tthat’s why I love it detroit if u don’t want the low to bother u live here if u do comit a crime u beter be black if u want to get away with it no jury will cunvict a black man of eny thing as long as its jury of his pears 30years in detroit lots of trial s haven’t won yet o for 5

          I live in detroit not over sea I’m born in Lebanon ill always live & love amarica ill just visit my old country. 3 weeks a year. Us is and always will be my home I’m shia I think u no that alredy

            I’m too old to be religious … God and I are going to have a chat one day maybe. There’s a few ‘screw-ups’ I want to discuss.

            Ask him for me to move Israel to detroit mybe then the govermint will bail us out of this mess then we need recidents half of the city is abandun and where I’d the bigest bankrupcy in history ill live with them..

            Happy thought Ali … but I think they don’t want to live the snow in winter. One of God’s little jokes … 😉
            I try to get Leb-friends to come and they seem interested until I describe -20 weather clothing needs. Can’t blame them since I enjoy warm naked-body beaches myself. :-))
            I know it’s been a long decline in ‘motor city’. There are more reasons for that than you can shake a stick at – beginning with a loss of ‘cheap oil’. Almost all of it to do with politics, of course, and a reluctance to keep jobs in North America. We see now it’s not the only city in deep recession … but you need to follow the money trails. Something about ‘Logic’. YOU should consider that.
